| Exhibition “Zurück zur Figur” (Back to the Figure) at KunstHausWien will probably help you keep in date with modern tendencies in painting as it provides an overview of what modern artists work on. The motto of the exhibition is “Young Art instead of Young Artists,” and its focus is therefore not on the age of the painters, but the spirit of their works – it has to be contemporary one. “Zurück zur Figur” contains only works created in the 21st century and presents over 40 artists from all over the world, experienced and emerging, young and elderly ones. Among the exhibitors there are such prominent names as Christian Brandl, Xenia Hausner, and Elke Krystufek. |
