| ImPulsTanz is probably one of the biggest and most important events in dance sphere. At least, for Vienna this is the event that gets more and more popularity with those who love dancing. First organised in 1984, it featured twenty workshops led by well-known teachers, which adds a new taste to Vienna’s cultural life. Nowadays the festival features not only workshops (there are about 160 of them offered by 80 teachers), but also more than forty productions in ten theatres, with the audience of over 30.000. ImPulsTanz always searches for new talents, trends and tendencies in contemporary dance, which makes the event even more special. This year the festival takes place 12 July - 12 August and features professional dancers, choreographers and teachers from all over the world. |
