| 4 July Medeski, Scofield, Martin and Wood bring their excellent concert to Vienna’s Werkstätten und Kulturhaus. This all started as a jazz trio of Medeski (keyboards), Martin (drums and percussion) and Wood (bass). In 1992, the trio released their first album called “Notes from the Underground”. Since then, 15 albums were released. In 1998 the trio was joined by guitarist John Scofield to record their album “Out Louder”. Many songs from this album will be performed at the concert. The Medeski Martin & Wood will impress you with their skillful usage of various electronic instruments, which makes them one of the respectful bands on the avant-garde jazz-rock scene.
