Gustav Klimt and the Painter Company |

| The exhibition “Gustav Klimt and the Painter Company” is already available at the Belvedere and will be opened till October 2nd, 2007. It examines the artist’s early works as well as the most famous ones, including “The Kiss”. For the first time in 100 years one can observe wonderful ceiling paintings and curtains that Gustav and Ernst Klimt together Franz Matsch created for the Burgtheater, the Kunsthistorisches Museum (Museum of Fine Arts), the Hermes Villa and other palaces and theatres. One of the highlights of the exhibition is a 15-meter long frieze and seven paintings from the Peles Summer Palace in Sinaia (today’s Romania). The joy from the exhibition will be complemented with excellent breakfasts offered at the park at the Lower Belvedere in July and August on Sundays at 10 a.m. |
