Vienna Danube Island Festival |

| If you wanted to visit Vienna in summer, this is just the timer as in 4 days, June 22–24, Vienna citizens and its guests will enjoy a wonderful Vienna Danube Island Festival, which can be called one of the largest European open air parties. The party takes place on a 6.5-kilometer long island and hosts about 2,000 artists and three million visitors. This year’s highlights are: 4Xang, Claudia Jung, Alphaville, Willi Resetarits and Gianna Nannini. The total performance time is approximately 600 hours. For the older visitors, there will be a karaoke installed playing the songs of their youth whereas kids are offered a great choice of entertainment, including supervised play, old-world carousels, tepees and sport displays. Food is also provided on a great amount of stalls, so every detail is considered. |
