| Austrian National Library presents an exhibition “Artful Homages for the Emperor and Sisi” available at its State Hall till October 10, 2007. The exhibits are all “homages” to the royal family, with the help of which many people not only wanted to express their regard for monarch and his family, but also promote themselves and their works. That is why they did their best to make these objects unique ones – and truly, all these folders, boxes, scrolls, and books are created by real masters. The exhibition shows the collection of 86 homages given to Emperor Franz Joseph and his wife, the legendary Sisi, on different memorable occasions (like birthdays and jubilees). |
