| September 29 – October 2 visit Kunst Wien exhibition at the MAK - Museum of Applied Arts in Vienna, which presents the most outstanding design collections in the world, featuring pieces from the Wiener Werkstätte, the Thonet brothers, Viennese porcelain manufacturers and many other producers. First organized in 1995, the exhibition displays mastrepieces of contemporary art and gives a chance both for attendances to see excellent works and for the artists to reveal their talents to the audience. Last year, Kunst Wien presented about 700 international and national artists, including the ones famous in the international art market. For this, it was named "the meeting place of the international world of art in Austria." This year, the exhibition is supported by Kunst Wien Forum, which organizes discussions and talks related to this year's focus on private art collectors and the specific way of presenting private art. |
