New 2 exhibition at Vienna's Belvedere Gallery |

| New 2 is an exhibition which will still be at your display at the Österreichische Galerie Belvedere till 28th of August. It shows new exhibits at the museum from the last three years, which include works by Günter Brus, Gelatin, Koo Jeong-A, Jakob Kolding, Jonathan Monk, Lisl Ponger, Florian Pumhösl, Matthias Poledna, Ann-Sofie Siden, Esther Stocker, Franz West, Erwin Wurm and others. Another thing that is worth seeing at the exhibition is the film by Markus Schinwald called Children´s Crusade that he made last summer at the Mölkerbastei in Vienna. It shows a group of singing children following a life-sized puppet, whose face keeps changing eerily. The scenery is accompanied by Benjamin Britten's opus 82 and creates links with the Children's Crusades, the story of the Pied Piper of Hamelin and the tragic tale of a lost orphan in the Warsaw Ghetto. Those who will not find the exhibition intereseting, will have a chance to visit another expositions, as the museum offers collections from the Middle Ages to the present day. |
