Mozart music at the KlangBogen festival |

| KlangBogen – is a Vienna classical music festival, which gathers together music lovers from all over the country since 1996. The festival is organized at famous Theater an der Wien and presents a wide range of musical events for five weeks. This year the main theme of the festival is Mozart’s masterpieces. Among various performances you will see Don Giovanni conducted by Bertrand de Billy, which lasts fro ten days. This is the story of the aristocratic gentleman, blasphemer and murderer all in one. Other highlights represented in the extensive concert programme are: performances by star violinist Julian Rachlin and the Wiener Virtuosen, an evening of song with Diana Damrau and Iván Paley, piano concertos by Mozart and Chopin performed by Rudolf Buchbinder, performances by the Wiener Philharmoniker and Julian Rachlin & Wiener KammerOrchester. KlangBogen ends at the 20th of August. |
